When you book musicians through Blitz Nation, you gain direct access to our team of experts who will assist you in crafting your ideal music experience. While our acts primarily perform at private events, we provide extensive media and videos to offer a glimpse into what you can expect on the night of your event.

Once you've selected the act of your choice, we'll send a booking form for both parties to sign.

Typically, we require a 50% deposit upon signing to secure the act for your desired date, with the remaining 50% due before the event.

Our payment options include check, debit, or credit card, and we pride ourselves on not charging any credit card fees. Payments are processed securely through Stripe, ensuring the highest standards of security.

Additionally, tax is included in all quotes, providing transparency and eliminating any additional costs.

It's advisable to book musicians as far in advance as possible, especially for peak dates such as Saturdays from April to November and during the Holiday period. Most acts accept bookings up to two years in advance.

However, if your enquiry is last-minute, rest assured that we've successfully secured musicians for numerous events on short notice. Contact us now, and we'll ensure that your event receives the musical accompaniment it deserves.

Most of our acts have a set list that they work from. Before your event, we will send you a current list and ask that you indicate any preferences or any particular songs you would prefer to avoid.

The majority of our acts also allow you to request one or two new songs for them to learn (e.g your first dance). Our acts will adapt their music using their professional experience to judge the songs that are working best with your audience. The set lists provided on BLITZ NATION profiles are updated frequently and give a great idea of what to expect at your event.

For the DJ or DJ live fusion – the playlist is totally open – You can share a list of songs or Spotify playlist with any notes / timings and our DJs love to have your input to guide them, but of course will read your crowd and make live calls using their experience and judgement.

Yes, we highly recommend booking a DJ alongside the party band. Over 90% of our private and corporate events include both. The DJ oversees dinner playlists, emcees, and plays party sets between the band's performances, ensuring smooth transitions and continuous energy. They specialize in genres like EDM, House, and Hip-Hop, complementing the band's live music perfectly.

The answer to this question will depend on the specifics at the venue but we have many solutions for venues with noise restrictions including acoustic acts + a silent disco DJ option.

Parking is required with convenient unloading. For short events (under 4 hours) this is all we require.

For events over 4-hours our team will require a vendor room with a vendor meal and refreshments as is standard in the event industry. We can confirm the exact requirements and our set-up / arrival times once you share the final event schedule.

Please send our events team an email and we can confirm the exact power requirements for the acts you have booked. For a DJ or band, 2 x dedicated 20-amp circuits are required with power next to the set-up location (which 99% of venues will have ready to go).

These are our two headline party bands that both bring unrivalled musicality, energy and interaction to every performance! Fortune West start from a smaller line-up (5-piece) and always include a female vocalist. Viva starts from a 7-piece line-up and are perfect for larger line-ups with 4-singers. Viva can contain just male singers, or a mix of male and female as you wish. The song lists are slightly different but do have some overlap.

Our party bands such as VIVA, Fortune West and Rock Nation tend to perform 3 x 45-mins sets. This can be split as you wish across the event (within a 3-6-hour window).

Due to the high-energy and interactive nature of our band’s performances, after around 45-mins it works best for the band to take a break, rehydrate, and let the DJ play.

This allows for a great flow of band and DJ across the event which ensure the highest energy is maintained throughout.

We usually recommend that our DJ plays the first dance & parent dances right before the band's first set. This works best for several reasons – Firstly, many couples don't wish to have the full song played and with the DJ playing the record, it can be totally flexible on the night if you signal “enough”. The DJ will emcee before & after the dance which is always required, and the band start immediately after – It's a slick transition with no gap. Many couples also like to practice a dance which can be done in advance to the exact track knowing there will be no surprises with tempo or format on the night.

Our talent pool is composed of some of the most in-demand musicians in the music industry, all of whom play with major artists.

Naturally they are not all available 365 days / year so we fill each band based on availability and will always try to incorporate any members that are requested.

We have a small pool of like-for-like talent who are all equally experienced within each band. Having this larger group is the only way to ensure any unforeseen circumstances (like illness or an accident the week of), don’t affect your booking and you will receive top-level talent no matter what the circumstances.
