A Week of Entertainment. One Partner.
Blitz Nation created and delivered the complete entertainment program for Esri's User Conference in San Diego.
CORPORATE ENTERTAINMENT PARTNER
From the first idea to the final encore.
We help companies turn complex, multi-day conferences into entertainment experiences that feel connected, original and effortless.
For Esri, that meant bands, DJs, dancers, flash mobs, themed performers and branded mascots across a week of events. It also meant months of planning, talent curation, technical coordination and on-site management behind the scenes.
20,000+ conference attendees served • 200 musicians, performers and dancers • 20 stages running simultaneously • 12,000 guests at the closing celebration.
Entertainment
Live music, DJs, non-musical entertainment and themed acts — curated to keep every room, stage and audience engaged.
Creative
Concept development, talent curation and programming that connects each performance to your event and brand.
Delivery
Project management, scheduling, logistics, technical and AV coordination, and on-site management from planning through showtime.

A different experience every night.
Esri needed one entertainment partner capable of handling the scale and complexity of a major international conference without losing creativity or personality.
Blitz Nation programmed social events across San Diego, then delivered the closing celebration at Balboa Park: 200 musicians, performers and dancers across 20 stages for 12,000 guests, all happening simultaneously.
Our team worked alongside Esri's internal events operation, overseeing artist check-in, green rooms, transportation, accreditation, scheduling and technical requirements.
Client perspective
“Blitz Nation made us look like rock stars. Their team did all the heavy lifting, and we received so many comments about how exceptional the talent was. One attendee even said the experience felt like Disneyland.”

The world's largest GIS event.
Esri is a global leader in geographic information system software, location intelligence and mapping. Its annual User Conference brings the international GIS community together at the San Diego Convention Center.
The audience spans government, business, education, research, nonprofits and technology. For an event of this scale, entertainment needs to do more than fill a stage. It needs to bring people together and make the entire conference feel memorable.
